    Kubek has always stood out from the crowd. At age 22, when many people have scarcely begun to vote, Ron was running for city council in his home town of Sidney. Not only was he elected, but he earned a reputation as a man of integrity and conviction.

    Always one to “call things the way they are,” his straightforward approach and hard work on initiatives to boost the local economy—including a new 350-berth town-owned marina with upland development and a new whale museum—contributed to his re-election two years later.

    Those who’ve worked with Ron, whether during his days as an alderman or through his many other community involvements, know him as someone who does what it takes to get the job done. But, more importantly, they know him as someone who truly cares about making a positive difference in the lives of those around him—especially his family.

    “My children are the most important people in my life,” he says. “-I strive to make sure that everything I do and every decision I make is what’s best for them as well.”

    It’s an attitude that’s also reflected in Ron’s career. When he became a real estate professional in 1985, his commitment to putting families first took him straight to the top.

    Though he has worked in nearly every capacity in real estate, including office manager and company owner, his true love has always been the hands-on, personal work of helping his clients to achieve their buying and selling goals, and today that’s his only focus.     Maxine Morrison was born in Liverpool, England. She started her business life by completing a University degree in Marketing and Graphic Arts and started a number of successful small businesses around London. After successfully starting and running one of England’s largest healthcare businesses in1996 it was time to start the next phase of her life in 2002.

     Her hard work ethics, business experience and never say never attitude was just what Canada’s Olympic Running Team was looking for and she was enticed to Canada in 2002. Pursuing excellent in sport, she moved to Victoria to work with the Canadian National Middle Distance team and complete her level 4 coaching certification. Whilst traveling and training with the Canadian running elites for the 2004 Olympics, raising two great teenage children she found spare time to write and publish a book about Learning to Run for Beginners.

    In addition to all this Maxine’s sharp business sense saw great potential in the Greater Victoria real estate market. As an investor Maxine bought a large number of homes in the Victoria area each a successful investment in its own right. 2007 saw her pursue her private pilots licence with night rating endorsement.

    It’s around this time her next challenge showed itself in the form of a small Chocolate Shop in Saanichton which had closed down. She tackled this challenge like all others in her life and Le Café Chocolat is now an award winning destination desert and light lunch cafe not to mention her hand made chocolates have even been presented to the Royal family.

    Now to the present - Maxine’s ready to take her domestic real estate and business experience combined with high energy, hard work, honesty and ethics to work for you in your next real estate investment.

    Julie has been with the Team since early 2005; she experience that covers everything from administration, project management, training to supervision in a large brokerage firm. A paragon of efficiency and organization, Julie is a key player within Ron Kubek's Team - not to mention one of the friendliest people you'll ever meet! Julie is a strong believer in holding ones own identity and making it an identity to be proud of. Julie's motto is "Action speaks louder than words."

    In between organizing and the managing of Ron''s Team, Julie tries to find time for her passion - travelling.

    Bobbi has worked with the Kubek Team since 1999. She worked as a nurse for 11 years and was looking for a big change, that landed her here. She works part-time with the Kubek Team assisting Ron and working on direct marketing programs.

    Her home life is busy raising three small children with her husband and always renovating her home.
